SOS- Trabalhos Técnico Especializados is a family business that works in green spaces.
With 20 years of experience in this area, the founding members created the SOS wanting to specialise in the most important areas when creating a green space.
We believe that:
When creating a garden or any other green space, we should worry about the minimal water consumption and a reduced use of chemicals. A good planning and installing an irrigation system it’s essential to the structure of a green space, and at the same time reduces the water consumption. The “fight” against the processionary caterpillar it’s a way to guarantee the safety of people and pets in public and private spaces and should be done, using environmentally friendly methods, protecting the trees and all the area surrounding it.
Large trees are the biggest environmental heritage in urban areas. We believe it’s important to maintain and respect its presence, evaluating the benefit/cost ratio in a tolerant and understanding perspective due to the inconvenience that might cause.
Working at heights with large trees it’s a high-risk job and should be done by specialised technicians with training in climbing trees. This will reduce the risk of accidents, making it safe for the arborist and the surrounding working environment.
